My work explores the passing of time and how it affects each aspect of life. Combining geometric and organic visuals through an exploration of color, pattern, and light relationships with a specific attention to material, I create abstract imagery that explores the marks we make as humans.
Nicole Davenport was born and raised in Anderson, SC. She completed her BFA in General Studio with concentrations in Sculpture and Printmaking from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC in 2015 and her MAT in Art Education, also at Winthrop, in 2016. Nicole is currently the Assistant Director at the Winthrop University Galleries.
